What it is like to date a Bostonian

Bostonians are smart. Many go to a good school, and it is absolutely normal to see someone's Tinder account say they went to MIT or Harvard, and now working on some bad ass project, that probably will make them billionaires in ten years. If you prefer Suits over Sex and the City , it is definitely the place to be.

They don’t get stressed easily. If they can handle the green line, be sure they can handle severe stress levels, left aside small fights with you. In other stressful situations, it would be nice of you to support them, but don’t worry. They can take care of themselves.

They are open-minded. Boston is a cultural mix, and although Bostonians might be quite cold, they are usually pretty open-minded. It might be due to the student vibe of the city, high education levels or whatever else. One thing stands true: if you are into some weird stuff, chances are Bostonians are not going to reject it straight away.

They will always have an Uber app you can use. It is not New York, or any other city with well-developed night public transport. Neither the city is small enough to walk everywhere. But you don’t have to worry, your Bostonian date will always be happy to take care of you and call you a cab after a night out.

They are used to living with other people. Because of overly high rents, most probably they have already shared an apartment. So moving in together should not that much of a big deal. They already know how it is to have a flatmate, how to avoid conflicts and concentrate on positive moments to enjoy time spent together.

They are not scared of being single. Notwithstanding Boston being a small city, there are many activities people can do. It might be quite different from towns in some periphery where people date just for the sake of it. If a Bostonian is dating you, it is probably because they appreciate you as a person, which means a healthier relationship in general as well.
